(**This Is For Pet Homes Only)
Step Two: Apply
Fill out our online application with as much information as possible. This will be useful to help match you with your perfect pup. |
Step Four: Join The Waiting List
A $500 deposit, plus a signed contract, will be required to be added to the waiting list. (If you don't find a match on a current litter, we are happy to hold deposits as long as it takes to find your perfect new family member) |
Step Five: Schedule Picking Appointments
Two weeks after birth, families will be contacted from the list for picking appointments. At this time you, can get details on the litter and choose to pass or make an appointment to pick a puppy from this litter. If you choose to pass, you can remain on the list for as long as needed. Be sure to follow the puppies' development and updates on Facebook. |
Step Six: Temperament Testing
At around 7 weeks only, our certified trainers will do a Volhart Temperament Test on every pup in the litter and we also perform a Personal Assessment Test. These tests help us learn about different traits the pups are likely to display as they grow up. At this time, 1 or 2 pups will be picked from each litter to move on for service/therapy work training. The remainder will be available to pet homes with picking appointments. |
Step Seven: Personal Biographies
A couple days after temperament testing, each picking family will receive an email with a personal biography about each available puppy. These will include test results, interpretation of results, and notes from the trainer and breeder on what we see - as well as guesstimates on coat, size, and any other helpful details. This is very helpful in choosing your favorites before you get here! |
Step Eight: Going Home Day!
Picking of your pup will happen the same day you take them home, at around 8 weeks. One family at a time will have a one and half hour appointment to sit with all the puppies and chat with breeder in the order they are on the list. The remainder of the payment is due that day (unless a payment plan has been discussed). **For details on getting a puppy for service or therapy work please contact me! |
