From Yuukis mom:
Yuuki is in training to be my multipurpose service dog, performing psychiatric, light mobility, and cardiac alert/response tasks to help mitigate my disabilities. She is everything I could’ve asked for and more. Even though she still wears “in training” on her vests, she already does so much to help me in my everyday life and blows me away everyday with her eagerness to help me. Foothill Aussies’ puppy curriculum really set us up for success from the very beginning. She passed her Public Access Test through San Diego Service Dogs, where we have been training, when she was only 7 months old! She absolutely loves working and training, and enjoys going to the beach, playing frisbee, and going long walks when she’s off duty. We are on track to graduate from our program summer of 2023!
Kona & Dexter
(poodle)
Bentley is being trained to be a medical alert dog. One of his tasks is to alert to gluten in products. This is a newer need and category of service. We are very proud to be one of the first breeding programs to be involved with this kind of service work.

Mylo is a service dog for public access work for his mom. She suffered a traumatic brain injury that made public places difficult to manage. Mylo has been such a powerful tool and companion that mom reports she can now live a full normal life.

These are just some of the special dogs we are so honored to be a part of. We have so many dogs that have been special placements for things such as autism, down syndrome, ESA animals and so much more. |
