Pawprints to Success: Our Puppy Training Journey

We go above and beyond for our puppies, providing more than just the basics. Training with a professional trainer begins at 5 weeks old, setting a strong foundation, and we continue to offer support and resources even after they leave for their new homes.

Early Training

We’ve implemented a new program where each puppy receives one-on-one training with Kay between 5-8 weeks old. This foundational training focuses on manners, crate training, and basic fundamentals, setting puppies up for success before they even leave our care.

Temperament Testing

At 7 weeks, Jennifer conducts temperament testing to gain insight into each puppy’s unique traits. This allows us to make thoughtful placement decisions, ensuring every puppy is matched with the best possible home.

Ongoing Support

Once puppies go home, Alexandra provides a personalized puppy consult for each family, addressing any initial concerns and setting them up for success. Additionally, both Kay and Jennifer are local to our program and offer in-person services, while Alexandra is based in Southern California to support families in the San Diego area.
