Hi,  I'm Rosie

Hi, I’m Rosie!

I’m a bundle of energy, love, and curiosity. My people call me “Go Go Ro” because I’m always ready to do something! Whether we’re heading out for a walk, chasing my ball, or just hanging out with my family, I want to be right in the middle of it all. I’m also known as “Nosey Rosie” because I simply have to know what everyone is doing. Your phone? I need to inspect it. The laundry basket? Absolutely worth investigating. Working on your computer? I may gently try to move your hand because clearly, it’s time to pay attention to me!

I’m equal parts independent and snuggly, but more often than not, I just want to be wherever my people are. I love playing with my ball, going on adventures, and having playdates with my cousin Dwight, who happens to be a HUGE mutt. I can be a little destructive with my toys — I’m quite the ripper! — but give me a peanut butter Yak chew and I’m one very happy girl.

I’m incredibly smart and learn new things very quickly. My people say I can pick up a new command in as little as an hour! I’m still young, though, so learning to slow down and contain all of my puppy excitement is a work in progress. When I meet new people or dogs, I get SO excited that sometimes my body just doesn’t know what to do with all those feelings. I may jump, bark, or even get a little too excited with my greetings. I’m learning that calm hellos are much more polite, and with consistency and practice, I’m getting there.

One of the things that makes me especially special is how naturally I tune into the people around me. I seem to notice when someone is happy, excited, or not feeling quite like themselves, and I adjust my approach accordingly. If you want to play, I’m ready! If you need a cuddle, I’m your girl. I have a very intuitive side that seems to tell me when someone needs a little extra love.

One of my favorite memories happened on a day when my person wasn’t feeling well. Normally, I’m a LOT of puppy and need to be watched closely because everything is fair game for chewing! But when I saw my person curled up on the couch under a blanket, something in me changed. I stopped what I was doing, climbed up beside them, and settled in for a cuddle. Even when I got back up to do my puppy things, I kept coming back to check on them throughout the day. I may be energetic and a little mischievous, but when my people need me, I know how to slow down and be there.

I’m still growing into the wonderful girl I’m meant to be, but I already have so much personality packed into this little body. I’m smart, affectionate, playful, and incredibly in tune with my people. Life is exciting, and I want to experience absolutely all of it — preferably with my nose involved! 🐾
