At Foothill Aussies, we are committed to raising well-rounded, confident puppies through a structured and thoughtful program. From birth, our puppies are exposed to Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI), which help strengthen their resilience, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability. As they grow, we implement Puppy Culture and other proven training methods to support their cognitive, social, and emotional development.
Between 5-8 weeks old, each puppy receives one-on-one training with a professional trainer to introduce foundational skills such as crate training, manners, and basic commands. This individualized attention helps set them up for success in their future homes. Additionally, at 7 weeks old, we conduct temperament testing to gain insight into their personalities, allowing us to place each puppy in the best possible home.
Our socialization process is extensive and customized to each litter’s purpose, whether they are being raised as service dogs, therapy dogs, or cherished family companions. Puppies are introduced to various sights, sounds, and experiences, helping them build confidence and adaptability. By the time they go home, they are well-prepared for their new families, and we continue to offer ongoing support, including a free virtual training consult, to ensure a smooth transition.
