Phone InterviewWe will contact you for a phone interview appointment.
This will allow us to get to know each other and discuss your needs and allow you to ask any other questions. |
Join the WaitlistA $500 retainer, plus a signed contract, will be required to be added to the waiting list.
The $500 retainer will be applied toward the puppy’s purchase price and covers administrative, screening, and care-related costs. If a suitable match is not available from a current litter, we will hold your retainer until we find the right puppy for your family. |
Picking AppointmentTwo weeks after birth, families will be contacted from the list for picking appointments. At this time you, can get details on the litter and choose to pass or make an appointment to pick a puppy from this litter.
If you choose to pass, you can remain on the list for as long as needed. Be sure to follow the puppies' development and updates on Facebook. |
Temperament TestingAt around 7 weeks only, our certified trainers will do a Volhart Temperament Test on every pup in the litter and we also perform a Personal Assessment Test. These tests help us learn about different traits the pups are likely to display as they grow up.
At this time, 1-2 pups will be picked from each litter to move on for service/therapy work training. The remainder will be available to pet homes with picking appointments. |
Personal BiographiesA couple days after temperament testing, each picking family will receive an email with a personal biography about each available puppy.
These will include test results, interpretation of results, and notes from the trainer and breeder on what we see - as well as guesstimates on coat, size, and any other helpful details. This is very helpful in choosing your favorites before you get here! |
Going Home Day!Picking of your pup will happen the same day you take them home, at around 8 weeks.
One family at a time will have a one and half hour appointment to sit with all the puppies and chat with breeder in the order they are on the list. The remainder of the payment is due that day (unless a payment plan has been discussed). **For details on getting a puppy for service or therapy work please contact me! |
Forever SupportOnce puppy is home with you, we still make ourselves available as support. With every puppy, we include a FREE virtual consult with one of our trainers to help set you up for success.
We create a Facebook group for each of our litters to allow our puppy parents to watch their pup's siblings grow as well as have the support of others in the same position. Puppies can be tough, which is why we do everything we can to support our puppy parents and set our puppies up for success. |
