Hi, I’m Pepper—1½ years old and about 20 pounds—snuggly, attentive, and playful. I’m a tennis-ball devotee and a total fetch superstar, just as happy chasing a toss in the yard as trotting along on family walks. Lately I’ve fallen in love with the lake, where I splash out to proudly retrieve sticks, then curl up for post-adventure couch cuddles. I’m a natural snuggler, and my favorite place is always right next to my people.
I’m social and soft-natured, so I greet dogs and humans with a friendly, polite hello. I’m happiest with my pack—especially outdoors—and I love checking in with sweet eye contact that says, “I just want to be with you.” One of my best memories was discovering swimming: one brave splash turned into joyful laps and stick deliveries.
