Pawls of Fame
some of the special working dogs our program has produced

We are dedicated to raising not only incredible family dogs, but specialize in both therapy and service dogs. Below are just some of the special dogs we are so honored to be a part of. We have so many dogs that have been specially placed for things such as autism, down syndrome, ESA animals and so much more.

Holly holds a special place in our hearts. One of our foster children learned she would be unable to return to her biological family. This lead to heartbreak and we wanted to help her heal. We gave her the opportunity to assist with Holly's birth. She chose to keep her tail. She named her after her mother, Molly (who has since passed). Holly became a cherished member of our family. Trained as a PTSD service dog, she played a vital role in helping Leah overcome her trauma. With Holly's support, Leah found comfort and strength, navigating her past with resilience. Holly continues to be an important part of Leah's life and truly showcases what our dogs were bred to do.

From Yuukis mom:
Yuuki is in training to be my multipurpose service dog, performing psychiatric, light mobility, and cardiac alert/response tasks to help mitigate my disabilities. She is everything I could’ve asked for and more. Even though she still wears “in training” on her vests, she already does so much to help me in my everyday life and blows me away everyday with her eagerness to help me. Foothill Aussies’ puppy curriculum really set us up for success from the very beginning. She passed her Public Access Test through San Diego Service Dogs, where we have been training, when she was only 7 months old! She absolutely loves working and training, and enjoys going to the beach, playing frisbee, and going long walks when she’s off duty. We are on track to graduate from our program summer of 2023!

Meet Viva, an extraordinary Aussiedoodle with a natural gift for therapy work. Her gentle temperament and affectionate nature make her an incredible therapy dog, bringing comfort and joy wherever she goes. Viva loves visiting senior communities, where she brightens the day of every resident she meets. Her visits are filled with wagging tails, warm cuddles, and heartfelt moments, spreading happiness and lifting spirits. Viva's ability to connect with people and provide emotional support makes her a cherished companion and a true joy to everyone she encounters.

Gigi is a remarkable companion who started as an Emotional Support Animal but naturally grew into a lifesaving service dog. Initially trained through Baxter & Bella, she quickly demonstrated an innate ability to sense and disrupt anxiety episodes before they escalated. With additional training, Gigi refined her skills in providing deep pressure therapy, emotional regulation, and ensuring safety during panic attacks. Her unwavering support and keen intuition have made a profound impact, proving that she was always meant for more than just companionship—she is a true working partner and a source of comfort every day.
