Hello, my name is Murphy Chase Christiansen, and I am a Standard Poodle. I turned one in April 2023 and am a Medical Response Service Dog for my mom. My task is Deep Pressure Therapy.
My family consists of my mom and dad, 9 year old sister, 7 year old brother, and 3 year old brother.My middle, 7 year old brother, is autistic and has a lot of therapies and appointments. I go with him and my mom to the hospital three times a week for these appointments as well as special Olympics swim practice, soccer practice, and more throughout the year. I love to go everywhere with my mom. We go to Service Dog Training every week, grocery shopping, restaurants, the mall, the airport, musicals, movies and more. I even get to tag along on date night while the other kids stay home with a sitter! Mom and I have a very special bond. My 3 year old brother and I like to wrestle. We are like littermates. I am very patient with him and always remember to be gentle. I also go to the park with him and lots of his toddler friends who always love to say hi. I am very calm and the other moms love me because I am good with their kids and don’t steal their food! My favorite treats are boiled chicken, sweet potatoes, and freeze-dried tripe. I love my sister who takes me on walks and often feeds me. She is like a second mom to me. My dad is almost like another littermate! We love to wrestle and play before bed. He also likes to take pictures and videos of me and my mom when we go out together. He is always impressed on how well I behave and with all I am learning. My two best friends are doodles and we run and play together whenever we can. I am a Guardian Dog, which means I get to see one of my favorite people, Mrs. Valerie, a few times a year! She pairs me with the perfect female to have puppies with. I love to go to her house and play with the other dogs and get spoiled! Embark Genetics |
