Hi, I’m Maverick!
I’m a loving, goofy sweetheart who just wants to be close to my people. If you sit down, there’s a good chance I’ll be right there leaning into you for pets—and I won’t want them to stop. I’m definitely more of a snuggler than an independent guy, and I’m happiest when I’m with my family or hanging out with my best buddy, Roxy. I love chasing any kind of ball and splashing around in the water (though I’m more of a wader than a swimmer!). I can be a little cautious when meeting new people or exploring new places, but once I warm up, my sweet and silly personality really shines. I’m a smart boy who loves to learn—especially when I figure something out! Whether it’s practicing manners or learning a new trick, I get so excited and proud of myself that I just want to keep going. I may take a little time to settle in, but once I do, I’m all heart.
