Hi! I’m Kira Hana — a sassy, smart, and very lovable girl who believes life is best when it includes plenty of attention, snuggles, and a good bone to chew on. I absolutely love my peanut butter–filled Kongs, bones, and my favorite treats, Stella & Chewy's Lil’ Bites Itty Bitty Beef Recipe. While I can be a little independent sometimes, I’m definitely a snuggler at heart and happiest when my people are home giving me lots of love.
I also love adventures like hikes and walks, and I can’t wait to go camping when the weather gets nicer. One of my favorite things in the world is playing with my brother Kuma, who is also a Foothill Aussies pup like me! When I meet new people, I get so excited that sometimes I greet them with big jumps, hugs, and lots of kisses — I just love people so much! (My family says we’re working on the jumping part… apparently that’s not always the best greeting.) I’m also pretty good at reading other dogs. In puppy class, there was a shy pup, and I knew to approach slowly and gently so I wouldn’t scare them. I’m currently finishing up my second training course and getting ready to start agility soon, which I’m very excited about. My trainer Susie is one of my favorite humans ever — when I see her, I sit or lie down right away because I know it’s time to learn! One day, after I get through my teenage phase, I hope to become a therapy dog and visit retirement homes to share all my love and cuddles.
