Hi, I’m Hank.
I’m thoughtful and intuitive, very attuned to my people, and I always do my best to please. I’ve been through obedience classes and truly thrive when I’m learning new things—especially when it means spending time with my humans. I also have a goofy, silly side. When I’m happy or excited, I smile and practically fold in half. I’m fiercely loyal and can be protective, but I’m not over the top. I’m wonderful with kids and very gentle with kittens and puppies. I have a solid medium drive with a great off switch. I’m perfectly content lounging around the house, but once I’m given a task, I’m easy to motivate and happy to work. My energy level is medium to lower-end, and I have excellent handler focus. I can be a bit aloof with strangers at first, but I warm up quickly. I’m older now (7), but when I was younger, I went everywhere with my person—including to work on the Air Force base. I’m excellent around livestock and very gentle, and I’ve never offered to herd or chase horses. Honestly, I’m the best dog my person has ever had. I consistently produce lovely puppies and often outproduce myself with a variety of females. Three of my daughters have been kept back, and Vicki has as well. I’m the sire of Magic and Sif, and I’m proud of the legacy I’m leaving behind. Genetic Testing |
