Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: Are all of the puppy parents AKC Registered?
A: All of our pure-bred Australian Shepherds and Poodles are AKC Registered.
Q: What are the individual sizes of the puppy's parents?
A: Size will differ with each litter. If you have a question about a specific litter, please let us know and we can provide our best estimate. Most of our Australian Shepherds and standard doodles are between 40-65 pounds. Males are typically bigger.
Q: Can I meet the dog's parents?
A: Some yes, because we use guardian homes, most females and some males will return to their families before picking weekends, when the mom has weaned her babies. By this point, they have been away from their people & home for 6/8 weeks and miss them.
If you're picking a litter from our breeding dogs that live full time with us, then of course you're more than welcome to meet them. For the protection of our puppies and their health, we only allow families to visit on picking day and only one family at a time.
I know this is not everyone's first choice, so we do our best to allow you to meet moms and dads on video calls and share as much information about them with you to find your best match.
Q: Have the puppies been socialized?
A: Yes, we pride ourselves on doing as much as possible with these little puppies starting very young. Besides introducing them to a wide variety of environmental items such as textures, household items and sounds, they also meet all ages of children and adults, as well as other dogs. We also try to get them out for a couple car rides before going to their furever family's. To review our puppy raising methods, click here.
Q: Have vaccines been administered to the puppies?
A: Yes, we provide their first round, a vet check, and deworming's.
Q: Have health tests been performed on the parents?
A: Yes, all our breeding dogs are DNA tested and screened from a vet for health before breeding.
Q: How long have you been breeding?
A: More than 5 years and loving every moment.
Q: What Health Guarantees And Reclaiming Policies Do You Provide In Your Contract?
A: We have a 3 day full health from everything from infections to Parvo, if you follow the contract's instructions. 2 year health guarantee for all genetic disorders we screen. Past the first 3 days, we don't guarantee for anything that's mammal related such as cherry eye or allergies.
Q: Do You Have References?
A: We have plenty of happy families that would love to share with you. Feel free to reach out or ask on our Facebook page.
