We are a loving, responsible, Australian Shepherd, Aussiedoodle and Poodle speciality breeding program based in Northern California. Our passion is breeding service, therapy and companion dogs that typicallly have a lower drive and balanced energy that is great for the family home. We do our best to surpass our clients' expectations by developing the puppies in our program in every way possible through our unique and thorough puppy curriculum.

What do you get when you adopt from Foothill Aussies?
Through our program, puppies receive a full vetting, microchip and a temperament test that provides a snapshot of their personality. Puppies start both potty training and crate training which helps with an easier transition in their new homes. Each puppy goes through a variety of socialization practices which helps with their confidence level. Puppies come home with a starter kit of goodies and a full packet of helpful tips including a socialization scavenger hunt. You will also receive never ending support! We invite each of our families to join a litter specific facebook page, so you can post your questions, post updates and enjoy watching their siblings grow up too.

Creating the best possible dog is our ultimate goal. Whether the dog is going to be working as a service dog, volunteering as a therapy dog or enjoying life as a spoiled family dog, it is so important for us to go through every essential step of socialization. Which is why we have developed a special puppy curriculum that we follow with every litter.
For eight weeks, we go through a series of exercises and training practices that include ENS, ESI, touch sensitivity, puppy culture methods and more. Follow us on Facebook for step by step videos showcasing each step.

ApplyWhen require each of our potential puppy parents to complete our quick puppy application. This helps us learn more about you and what you are looking for in a puppy.

InterviewWe will set an appointment to connect and discuss your application, what you are looking for, how we raise our puppies, and get all of your questions answered.

DepositIf you decide to move forward with a Foothill puppy, we require a deposit to hold your place on our waitlist. We are in contact with our waitlist families often.
