Our Philosophy

Picture
Our program was developed after observing how amazing and intuitive Australian Shepherds were with foster children who needed extra emotional support.
We believe in fully developing every puppy neurologically, physically, and beyond to help each pup reach their highest potential. To do this with all of our puppies, we developed our own specialized curriculum after collaborating with many other breeders.
Instead of keeping our dams and sires in kennels for breeding, each of our dogs has a loving family to care for them, either with us or with an amazing guardian family.
We specialize in producing outstanding puppies who are well-rounded and developed in every way through our extensive training programs.
Our goal is to help every puppy find their perfect forever home with a family who loves them and promises to care for them their whole life.
We focus more on finding the perfect match between each pup and their family than on breeding and selling as many puppies as possible.
Many of our puppies make amazing service, therapy, and companion dogs because of our thoughtful programs and outstanding breeding lines.
We have a few different lines, each designed to meet the specific needs of different families.
We’re glad to have you here, and we hope you enjoy learning more about our extremely thorough and loving program!

All about your Breeder, Ms. Valerie

Picture
Ms. Valerie was a teacher for over 30 years and specialized in early childhood development. Her primary focus was the brain and how it develops within the first five years of a child's life. She worked with many at-risk children who faced trauma, autism, and other life-altering diagnoses that required early intervention. She was (and still is) very involved in the community—she traveled to homes, owned preschools, served on the county board, and more. Helping people has always been a passion of hers.
Ms. Valerie is married to Jimmy, and they have quite a full house, not including all of the dogs! Between the two of them, they have 12 children (his, hers, theirs, and adopted) and five grandchildren.
Jimmy, Valerie's husband, brought the love of Aussies into their home. He grew up with Aussies and shared his passion for the breed with Ms. Valerie. Their first Aussie together was Beau, an engagement gift from Ms. Valerie. Beau is where it all began. He was bred twice, producing well-tempered puppies who went on to become both service dogs and therapy dogs.
From there, Ms. Valerie purchased both Kai and Molly. Around the same time Kai and Molly came into their lives, the family also began fostering children. Due to her extensive knowledge and understanding of children and brain development, they chose to foster children with significant trauma and unimaginable pasts. As they raised Molly and Kai alongside their foster children, Ms. Valerie realized how gifted her dogs were at understanding the children's PTSD. She knew she could raise them in a way that built specific pathways in their brains through socialization, helping them utilize that natural gift. Because of her understanding of child brain development, she implemented the same type of concept when raising her puppies.
She met with mentors, other breeders, and trainers to put together her first puppy curriculum. She learned about Puppy Culture, discovered "Badass Breeders," and pulled from each to develop a specialized curriculum for raising her puppies. Ms. Valerie is incredibly passionate about raising amazing puppies for all different types of families and puts her heart and soul into working with each pup.
All of this would not be possible without the support of her family and community. Her husband Jimmy and her children are an incredible support system and have no problem getting their hands dirty. They work together as a team to raise future service dogs, therapy dogs, and family companions. They are committed to ensuring that each puppy is raised to be the very best companion they can be.
